4 Reasons to fall in love with photo albums
Hey there, fellow memory-makers! As a family photographer, I’m all about capturing the fun moments for your families and helping you turn those moments into heirlooms you and your loved ones can treasure forever. And let me tell you, my clients just can’t get enough of albums: seriously, they’re head-over-heels for them, like a teenager with a crush. And it’s easy to see why! In this post, I’m spilling the beans about why they’re such a big hit, and why you might want to jump on this bandwagon too. So grab a happy drink (tea, coffee, wine?), get comfy, and let’s rock n’ roll!
1. Albums are interactive.
Most of the families I work with love cuddling up together with a good book, and albums fit perfectly into that routine. I’ve taken your kiddos into consideration when selecting which album to offer you – they have thick, rigid pages so your littles can safely page through (and excitedly point out all their family members!) without bending anything. The pages are printed with the same velvety matte paper as your favorite prints, which hides those pesky fingerprints. I also add a crisp white border which not only looks nice, but will also prevent your photos from getting damaged with normal wear & tear on the edges.
2. Albums can fit a lot of photos
Frames are great for those 1-2 hero moments you want to see every time you walk through the house, but what about all the other moments? Albums are an insanely beautiful, highly customizable way to ensure nothing gets left in the dark, dusty corners of your hard drive. **A standard 8-inch album can comfortably fit 30 images, but if you add more pages or scale up to a 10” book, you can include even more!
3. Albums are portable.
You can quickly tuck them into a bag and bring them along to family vacations or trips to grandma’s house (and we all know grandma doesn’t want to squint at a tiny phone screen). You can safely pack them up without worrying about anything breaking on a cross-country move. And heaven forbid, if you ever had to evacuate your home quickly, you can grab your album in a flash!
4. Albums are just an easy decision.
You could agonize for months over what quantity or size to print your photos, what frame to get, and where to hang them. Albums are a quick, easy “yes,” every time! And, because I do all the design work for you, there’s nothing left for you to do… except enjoy the final product, of course!
