Portraits at The Ohio State University & Ohio Northern University

For grads looking for a stress-free, out-of-the-box portrait experience

Together, we will weave together the story of your college years, bringing out your real personality for photos that look & feel like you. No two grad sessions look exactly the same, but that’s what makes it special. That’s what makes it yours.

What to expect:

  • Stress-free prep. We’ll chat about your vision beforehand so I can design the photoshoot of your dreams (where do you like to hang out? What’s your personality like?) I’ll work out the logistics to bring it to life.

  • A session that feels like a hangout. I’ll show you where to stand and how to nail that epic champagne pop, but above all else, my job is to make sure you have fun. Plus I know all the tricks, like the best time of day to avoid graduation crowds!

  • Natural editing. You’ll actually recognize yourself in your final photos, and you will love them for years to come. No orange filters, no crazy aibrushing, #NoRagrets

  • Simple, straight-forward pricing. I have two great session options, and both of them include digital images with no hidden fees and nothing held back. Your images are yours to download and share, and your gallery is linked to my professional print lab for easy custom printing.

Hi friend — I’m daisy!

I don’t have a single decent picture of my college-aged self, and I think that’s a shame.

The good news is, it’s not too late for you! I’ve worked really hard in this corner of my business to turn graduation picture-taking into something that’s not only bearable, but actually enjoyable. Booking this photo session for yourself will be the easiest and most rewarding thing you do all year.

All humans are welcome and celebrated here, so however you identify or describe yourself, there is a safe space for you in front of my lens. I can’t wait to hear all about you!

“Daisy is an amazing photographer and a lovely person that actually makes getting your pictures taken fun!”

“I loved my photos so much that I absolutely needed her to come back so I could document my family and I at my white coat ceremony! She took away some of the stress of a photoshoot by coordinating and planning with me beforehand. I love that she takes the time to get to know the person she’ll be working with.” - Hellen

How grad photo sessions work:

Investment

It doesn’t have to be awkward, but you should know you can’t pay me in Taco Bell coupons (as much as I love it). A great deal of energy, care, and expertise goes into making each session amazing — because let’s be honest, you deserve nothing less.

  • 2 hours on campus (OSU or ONU)

  • 1-3 people (friends can book together)

  • Outfit change

  • 50+ edited images in online gallery with print release

  • Confetti cannon & bottle of bubbly on me

Petite grad session

  • 45 minutes on campus (OSU only)

In order to make each grad feel special and awesome, space is very limited. I highly recommend booking 6+ weeks in advance to ensure availability.

“The pictures I received were GORGEOUS and I know I'll love them for many years to come!

Daisy was incredibly personable and warm and made me feel right at home during our session! She walked me through every step before and after, and made sure I had all of the information I needed.” - Elena

Grad session Q&A

This might save you an e-mail now or later.

  • Yes! The regular grad session can be booked for up to 3 people. In these cases, one person will be the “dedicated contact” with whom I will coordinate payment and logistics. Please keep in mind that when splitting sessions, the overall length of the session and number of delivered images remains the same (just divided equally amongst 3 people).

  • Yes! Please indicate your relationship on the contact form so I can send you relevant information. Once we have payment squared away, I’ll communicate directly with your child for planning purposes so I can rock their world!

  • Early, especially if you are graduating in May. Spots are limited and in high demand, so I’m usually booked 6 weeks in advance leading up to spring graduation. If you waited until the last minute, please reach out anyway – I might be able to squeeze you in!

  • I accept all major credit cards. Payments are made online and split into three, easy-to-manage installments: 1/3 at booking, 1/3 right before the session, and 1/3 when the final images are ready.

  • Due to the limited availability and highly personalized nature of grad sessions, no discounts are offered. If you only need a few images and are more flexible on scheduling, the Petite Grad Session is a great option!

  • While it’s true that beautiful photos can be made in any weather, there are downsides to being photographed in the rain and freezing cold. If there is a high chance of rain, snow, or other bad weather on session day, we’ll look at the calendar and figure it out.

  • If possible, between semesters. Save your cap and gown and book a spot with me in late May or June. You will have popular campus locations all to yourself, plus you won’t be stressing about juggling multiple things leading up to graduation. However, if you’re not local or can’t schedule between semesters, late March/early April is a good window for spring photos. You will avoid the bulk of the graduation crowd, and get your photos back before graduation day.

  • In addition to your cap & gown, think outside the box. Grads have brought their retro roller skates, a stethoscope, a scooter, books, chicken tenders (seriously!) and flags for me to photograph. You could also decorate your graduation cap. Pretty much anything goes – we’ll have plenty of time to chat about those details leading up to the session!

  • Please allow 4 weeks, especially in the Spring. If you need images or professional prints by a certain date, please ensure you are booking far enough in advance to allow for sufficient editing & processing time.

  • Absolutely! ONU is my alma mater, and I’m happy to make the drive for grads booking a full session with me (travel is not available for petite grad sessions).

  • Usually the session flows best if it’s just you and me (I promise I’m all the hype you need!) That said, if there is a reason you need someone else to attend, we can definitely discuss that beforehand.
